There's some confusion about this family.  Initially referred to as "the coronavirus," the Wuhan light virus, and this 2019 book coronavirus, it is so the form of coronavirus.  But there are some other types of light viruses: SARS, MERS to list some of the more common ones.  "Corona" relates to the light in their ring system when viewed with a microscope.  The specific coronavirus, which national health officials today refer to as COVID-19, shows symptoms like fever, coughing and shortness of breath.  It is the airborne virus, well transmitted from the virus carrier to someone else coughing or having a shared feeling.  The greatest cost to keep yourself from having this virus is to make your hands clean and avoiding people who are sneezing/coughing  For more information about illness and preventative precautions, check out the World Health Organization's (who) list here.

Coronavirus: The kind of general virus that infects humans, typically resulting in upper respiratory infection (URI). Seven other types of coronavirus have been described.  Most people would stay tainted with at least one kind of coronavirus in their life.  These viruses are spread through the atmosphere by coughing and sneezing, near physical touch, touching the object or device contaminated with the virus and, rarely, by fecal material.  This sickness is caused by most coronaviruses usually lasts a short period and is characterized by a runny nose, sore throat, feeling sick, coughing, and fever.  Instances of person coronaviruses that have been reported to have serious symptoms include MERS-CoV (this beta coronavirus that stimulates the part of Asia metabolism symptom, or MERS), SARS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes the severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS,  And the original 2019 book Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak that started in Wuhan, Taiwan.
